Dynavoice Thunder T-12

The Dynavoice Thunder T-12 is the most powerful active subwoofer we have ever built. The woofer has a basket, cone and voice coils in aluminium, double stacked magnets and a powerful suspension. The enclosure has a 45mm thick front and sides that are 30mm thick, an over all construction weighing in on impressive 28 kilos. The heavy duty enclosure keeps the vibrations to a absolute minimum and will make the Thunder T-12 the heart and soul of your audio system.

When the swedish hifi magazine Hifi & Musik tested the T-12 their conclusion was: ”In summary we highly recommend you to listen to the T-12, even if you are in the market for a subwoofer that cost twice the money…”. They also felt that the amount of bass you get from such a small enclosure is rather unusal, and we agree. Using a sealed enclosure we can make it about 20% smaller, which makes it easier to place and very compact. A sealed enclosure with a heavy duty woofer demands a powerful amplifier. The class-D amplifier in the T-12 can put out 500W in continuous power and has a maximum effect of massive 650 watts.
