We believe that the best way to dampen a room is as below, the most important at the top:
1. Start by dampening the wall behind the front speakers. Here is where the first reflection in time comes, so it is important to dampen it down.
2. Secondly, you should dampen the side walls.
3. Third, you also dampen the back wall.
These acoustic panels are not thick enough to dampen away deep bass (see table below). If that is the case, you need thicker material. This acoustic panel attenuates distracting reflections effectively above 500 Hz.
